Do I need to know any Arabic already?
No. The book is written for complete beginners. Every phrase is broken down so you can read it, say it, and use it the same day.
Which Arabic will I learn?
Spoken Levantine Arabic — the everyday Arabic of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Palestine. It is the Arabic in most Arabic music and television, and the Arabic you hear across Dubai’s Arab community. Not Modern Standard Arabic, the formal written Arabic of textbooks and news broadcasts, which almost nobody actually speaks at home.
Is there a digital version?
No. It is a printed paperback only, delivered free in 2–4 days.
Is it written in Arabic script?
No. Every Arabic word is written in easy English letters, with the English meaning beside it, and a short guide at the front shows how to say the few sounds that need explaining. You can use the book from day one without reading Arabic.
When does it ship?
